With the release of Windows Server 2008, Microsoft will be updating their "Terminal Services" feature. In the above DABCC-TV Video, Douglas Brown walks you through how to install and configure the basic "Terminal Services "Role" and how to publish an application using the new RemoteAPP feature.
Terminal Services 2008 ships with a new feature called "RemoteApp programs".  RemoteAPP programs are programs that are accessed remotely through Terminal Services and look, feel, and appear as if they are running on the end user's local computer.  In the past Terminal Services sessions offered only access to "Desktop" session where as in Terminal Services 2008 you now have the ability to publish "RemoteApp" program that will appear to be integrated into the client's desktop, running in its own resizable window with its own entry in the taskbar. If you are familiar with Citrix "Seamless" applications then you will completely understand "RemoteAPP" programs.
