Build your Best - Without any Limits or Compromise
A Feature-Complete Scheduling/Calendar Library for Visual Studio .NET
From the beginning, the focus at DevExpress has been to create best-in-class solutions that give you the ability to create stunning applications using today's most popular UI elements and to provide you uncompromising flexibility with superior ease of use.
The XtraScheduler Suite represents our answer to the countless developers who require a rock-solid scheduling and calendar library with all the features and options they’ve come to expect from DevExpress. Built upon our industry-leading UI infrastructure, XtraScheduler Suite will help you build scheduling applications that mimic Microsoft Outlook® and blow away your end-users each time they start your application.
Key features include:
With XtraScheduler, you will not have to spend any unnecessary time on customization options or inadequate visual elements. Designed to be a cohesive and integrated solution to address the needs of software developers like yourself, XtraScheduler will help you solve your business requirements without frustration - from the moment you install it into your IDE.
Out-of-the-box, .NET offers a lot of different controls, which can be tweaked easily. However, sometimes you just need that additional feature, and you simply do not have the time to build it yourself. After having used open source code, and other tool kits, a colleague introduced me to the DevExpress toolkit. Initially I signed up for the 60 free controls, and those provided me great extended functionality, on top of the regular .NET controls. After having worked with these controls, I became curious about the other controls offered by DevExpress.
For one of my recent projects I was in need of an integrated calendar. After having researched multiple (both open source and licensed) calendar controls, again DevExpress was the most cost-effective control. Out-of-the-box it offers great additional features like synchronization with Exchange and the look and feel has a strong resemblance to Outlook. Also, it is easy to use and comes with many additional useful controls, which have proven to be a complete set of controls. Since DevExpress has proven to be a producer of complete and robust controls, I felt confident that their calendar control kit would be the best choice for me. Not only do you get the controls, but the source code can be provided also, which greatly reduces the time to understand how the calendar and the other controls function.
